The annual Kerala Pooram Snake Boat Race and Cultural festival will be returning to the lake once again. Organised by the Union of United Kingdom Malalyalee Associations (UUKMA), teams from all over the country will be competing.

The spectacular event will be a feast for both the eyes and ears as colourful flags, beating drums and adrenaline pumping racing takes place.

Following the triumph of our previous Waves Music Festivals we are thrilled to declare its highly anticipated return in July. Brace yourselves for an extraordinary lineup, showcasing a diverse range of artists that promises an unforgettable party experience. The event will take place on the picturesque grassy parkland, situated directly opposite the beach area. Our self-contained site boasts convenient access to delectable food vendors and an onsite bar. Get ready to immerse yourself in the ultimate celebration of music, nature, and good vibes!

Back and more popular than ever the Manvers Dusk till Dawn. This is an endurance event that is suitable for runners of varying ability. The concept is simple, you run as many 3.21 mile laps of the lake as you can between 6pm on Saturday and 6am on Sunday. Between these times you can start when you want and finish when you want. You can take break at any point have a rest and then complete more laps later, it is entirely up to you.

Join us as we swim to beat Parkinson’s! Help us raise funds for Parkinson’s UK by swimming a combined total of 168 miles - equivalent to crossing the English Channel eight times! Whether you’re swimming solo or with a team, every lap counts. Enjoy live music from a guest singer as you swim, creating a lively atmosphere for this meaningful cause. British Quadrathlon and Team Manvers have joined forces to bring a Quadrathlon to the Dearne Valley and Manvers Lake, which qualifies for the World Quadrathlon Cup Series 2025! Alongside this there is also a Triathlon running too. The aim is to deliver a Quadrathlon where people from all walks of life can participate. Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of live music as the talented Skinny Living takes the stage. Known for their distinctive sound and emotive lyrics, Skinny Living will perform a mix of their hit songs, promising to captivate and inspire.

This special concert is more than just a performance - it’s a chance to make a difference. The event is in support of Rotherham Hospice, an incredible charity dedicated to providing compassionate care for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

This 12 hour swim challenge will be a test of both physical stamina and mental endurance, in that you / your team are swimming 6 miles and awake through the night! On the hour every hour get in and swim half a mile! Starting at 6pm competitors will enter the lake and swim 2 x 400m loops, this will repeat every hour on the hour till 5am on the Sunday morning. Entries are Individual or Teams of 3. Please note, this event is suitable for Manvers members that are signed off swimmers only.​
